BIO   /   Orvvet’s work explores surfaces where matter seems to slowly emerge and disappear.

 

Through layers of acrylic, glazes, and processes of applying and removing paint, each piece retains visible traces of its construction. The surface functions as a space of balance between gesture, texture, and visual silence.

 

His practice focuses on creating abstract compositions conceived to coexist naturally with architecture and everyday life, bringing depth and a contemporary presence.

 

Working from his studio in Italy, Orvvet develops original series in unique editions.

STATEMENT   /   The practice focuses on the creation of abstract surfaces in which matter, light, and texture interact in subtle and balanced ways.

 

Each work is developed through processes of layering, displacement, and removal of paint, allowing small traces of the process to remain visible across the surface. The intention is not representation, but the construction of visual atmospheres capable of conveying depth and presence.

 

Through a restrained palette and open compositions, the work is designed to integrate naturally into a variety of architectural and everyday spaces, establishing a quiet and lasting relationship with its surroundings.

 

All works are conceived as unique original pieces, created through an intuitive yet carefully controlled approach in which balance, materiality, and spatial sensitivity play a central role.
